Mrs. M-D’s grade 4/5 class went rabbit snaring this morning with Papa Ted, Uncle Bill and Uncle Peter.
The students found it very challenging to walk through the deep snow. So, they talked about how hard winters were a long time ago when there were no stores to go to. Our families still had to go hunting and trapping in any condition in order to survive.

A few more photos from Papa Ted's excursion with grade 3M last week.

Papa Ted sent a few photos from his trip with grade 3M last week. They snowshoed about 1.5 kms return. They saw rabbit, coyote and squirrel tracks. They also walked mindfully for 2 minutes in silence just enjoying the peace and scenery. A very healthy activity for the mind body and soul 😊
